Our Focus

Missions

To involve women in the world-wide ministries of the C&MA through intercession, short term missions, the support of overseas workers and their families, and an annual project that services specified needs in various countries

Prayer

To encourage corporate and individual worship and intercession for local, national, and worldwide ministries.

Fellowship

To encourage a sense of community among women through the building of healthy relationships/friendships by the transforming power of Christ.

Outreach

To equip women to share God’s love and the message of the Gospel with family, friends and neighbors.

Discipleship

To encourage the study of God’s Word and to inspire women to follow Christ through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

LOCALLY

Alliance Women’s Ministries (AWM) is now in full swing at LaFayette Alliance Church.

Shaun Standford is our acting local director and would welcome any ideas you may have as we minister to the women at LaFayette Alliance Church and reach out to our community.

AWM has many projects we want to support. If you would like to contribute financially, you can mark “AWM” on your envelope.

Locally, for women, we have the following opportunities that you can be involved in:

Monday Evenings at 7:00 pm: Precept Bible Study lead by Chris Buff
Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 pm: Jody Gates leads a study of the book of John using the book “John – That You May Believe”
2nd Thursday of every month: Beth Ortlieb leads a Women’s Discussion Group using the book  “Created to be His Help Meet”
Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am: Jody Gates leads a study of the book of John using the book “John – That You May Believe”
