What are L.I.F.E. groups?
L.I.F.E Groups are small groups of people who come together on a regular basis to love, learn, worship and pray. Most groups meet in homes, but some may meet in the church building.
What do we do in L.I.F.E. groups?
The application of the Bible to everyday living is explored through presentation and discussion. Prayer for, and ministry to, one another is encouraged. L.I.F.E. groups foster a dynamic environment where evangelism and growth of the group are promoted with the goal to reach more people with the gospel.
"Those who had been scattered preached the Word wherever they went."
Acts 8:4
Who leads L.I.F.E. groups?
Life groups are lead by those who have a heart for God and desire to serve the Lord Jesus through ministering to his people. Leaders and potential leaders receive ongoing training in small group leadership.
What is the goal of L.I.F.E. groups?
The goal of each and every L.I.F.E. group is to help individuals come to maturity in Christ and be actively involved in the fulfilling of Christ's Great Commission to reach the world with the Gospel for Him.
Why Should I join a L.I.F.E. group?
Joining a group will give you the opportunity to meet and build relationships with others in the church as well as develop you personal walk with God, learn to use you gifts and abilities in service to Him, and become better able to handle the stresses and trials of today's world.
How can I join a L.I.F.E. group?
You can find a list of L.I.F.E. groups in the church bulletin and newsletter, as well as posted on the bulletin board in the church building. To join, you can call the designated group leader or church secretary at (315) 677-9810, or fill out a L.I.F.E. group inquiry card. You can also email the church at life@lafayettealliance.org
