Awana
The Awana Clubs Program
Awana is for boys and girls ages 4 through 6th grade. Join us for games, handbook time, and learning about the Bible together. New clubbers are always welcome!
Awana is an international, Bible-centered youth ministry to reach boys and girls and their families with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
If you have any questions about the Awana program, please contact the church office at (315) 677-9810.
Kids and parents Love Awana!
Awana Clubs run throughout the school year.
Why do hundreds of thousands of kids attend Awana Clubs every week? Awana is fun! Not only that, they are both learning and growing while participating in exciting activities.
Awana Club leaders provide life-enriching age appropriate materials through which participants learn the reality of God, his love for them, and how he expressed his love through the person of Jesus Christ. Children learn how to apply biblical truths to their everyday lives while honoring God and other people.
Awana Clubs are Christian and Bible-centered but do not exclude children based on their religious background. Club meetings are open to all and since 1950, churches have used Awana to reach children of their community for Christ and to train them how to serve God.
The three segments of an Awana Club meeting are:
Game Time:
Everyone can participate in these high-energy activities featuring both individual and group competition. Game time is designed to unleash children’s natural energy and enthusiasm.
Handbook Time:
A trained leader encourages and guides club members in memorization of the Scripture and the development of a bible-based view of how to know and serve God.
Council Time:
All members of the club participate in listening to a Bible message, singing, and announcements of upcoming events. It is during this time that awards are presented for individual’s progress in the handbook and success in team competitions.
AWANA at Lafayette Alliance:
AWANA clubs take place each Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 PM during the months of September through May. AWANA meetings are cancelled when the LaFayette school closes due to weather.
